I have no idea who would do a good job out of the people that are available. I wanted Klopp before he went to Liverpool, I would like Poch but there isn't a hope in hell of getting him in the next few years.

I really don't want Zidane because there is nothing to suggest he would be up to the task. We need a manager without a huge ego who has his teams play good attacking football with some sort of plan when we attack and defend. I don't care if we come mid-table for a few years if we entertain and actually make year on year improvement.

Currently anyone would do a better job than Mourinho.

If Woodward had a brain, and Fergie, they'd be on a flight to Germany to offer Heynckes a truly ridiculous sum to be manager for two years and to ask him to put together a coaching staff for youth and senior level and pick a suitable assistant who could take over.

Heynckes is a freaking magician in terms of improving players, getting on with players and making great to watch football.

Other than him, who knows, but at this point almost anyone would be better than Mourinho, Fat Sam would probably be better at this point.
 
I think the only way this line up / formation could get any more bizarre is if he brings Romero on as a striker to replace Lukaku

Romero on for Lukaku, but put Pogba in goal, Romero at CB and De Gea upfront.


Seriously though, so many give Woodward crap for not being able to spend insane amounts to get Maguire and Alder, from teams that didn't want to sell those players. Mourinho wanted Fred, got him, he sucks, wasn't worth half of 50mil and he's not even playing him. They backed him on a ridiculous deal for Sanchez, he's not playing him either, they backed him on the two CBs he already bought, won't play one, subbed the other off early in the game.

If he got Maguire and Alder, the only thing we'd be seeing is two 70-100mil CBs massively underperforming.
 
Do you think utd (or any of the bigger teams) would ever consider likes of Eddie Howe etc?

I can imagine utd trying to poch in all fairness, and I think he'd suit them.
 
I want to go and slap Lukaku. I haven't seen him make a single move towards the ball all game. Utter ****
 
And this is why Martial and co. have 0 ******* confidence. Lukaku has been utter garbage and he stays on. Bailly gets taken off after 20 minutes in favour of McTominay. McTominay is taken off for Fellaini after being moved into a position he doesn't play.

What really baffles me is how Mourinho will genuinely think that his players are just playing badly for no reason and it couldn't possibly be due to the way he treats them.
