Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [5th - 9th February 2016]

Yep need to kill Bournemouth off, increase our gd with a few more goals as well and a clean sheet to put the icing on the cake.

If Arsenal can win here and the Leicester game, they'll be 2 points behind. With 36 points still up for grabs after theres still a long long way to go. So much can happen. Leicester don't have the cup or europe to contend with, very lucky, Spurs even have Europa..

I did not agree with the change in prices at Sheffield Wednesday this season and think price increases in general are disgusting, (£42 to see Bristol on the opening weekend of the season ) however I'm a season ticket holder and have just paid £3360 for two season tickets for the next three years (price frozen for 3 years) - which works out at ~£29~ a home match, which is excellent regardless of promotion in my opinion.

My housemate just got one of those, so annoying. Ours aren't much cheaper and we're pants. :(

Looks a good game on paper..

FFS as soon as Utd start playing well he takes out Schneiderlin for the useless **** thats Fellaini, immediately down to 10 men at best

Fellaini's been playing for the last few games lol, at least Carrick's back but I agree we need Herrera starting ideally.

Big game, if we don't win we've no hope of getting top 4 realistically (it's a stretch as it is).

If we play badly we're back to square one after the Stoke game. If not then maybe we can salvage some of the season.

I think LvG will want a draw. :(

Yes but what did you honestly think when he was appointed?

I couldn't see it working out personally.

Honestly - nothing as damning as Phil did! But I had no inclination to believe that we would be where we are - no one did did they!?

With Claudio I did some research on him and his results before the season kicked off and actually felt that he had been given a pretty rough time, he's done well where he has gone so I was open minded, and the more I saw of his personality as this season has progressed the more I felt like we'd got a great manager.

Need all the moral you can get with msn making an appearance at the emirates next week.;):p

Pfft I don't care much for the Barca game, I don't see us winning it anyways. Just hope we don't get raped like Valencia did the other week lolololol.

Geesh that was an interesting end to the game, Bournemouth should have at least got a draw out of that if it wasn't for their poor finishing. But thank god for cech who again saves out backsides with 2 stunning saves in the last few mins.

Wenger with some silly subs, killing off the offence to try and defend a 2 goal lead. Of this was against the big teams then fair enough but against Bournemouth?? We should have buried them as our gd is pretty bad at the moment. As Henry said at end of the game, we did just enough to win that but second half was pretty iffy for us.

Rambo MOTM?? Hahahahaha that's hilarious, if anything it should have been Cech and not Rambo, who was trying to be Messi with his silly ball tricks and losing the ball numerous times.

I just hope that we don't play like today against Leicester otherwise we get sparked by them like City did yesterday.
