Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [6th - 11th April 2012]

Apparently one of the officials saw the tackle, which then begs the question why didn't they flag it and get him sent off for it?

Nothing to do with the FA, it's the officials that were at the match that didn't give the decision despite seeing it. Poor.

It is to do with the FA. They set the stupid rules that state further punishment can't be made if an official has seen it. Common sense should prevail in a case like this.

Our game is getting closer and im still not confident, First time in years i just cant even be arrogant and assume we will smash them!

If we can perform how we did vs Villa in the last 20mins but do it for the 90mins we will have a chance of atleast getting more than 1 goal

It's the equivalent of a World Cup final for Blackburn, I can't see many being shocked if they pull off a result, plus they've beaten Man U and Arsenal this season so can surprise people.

Yup well no one is shocked if we lose at the moment to any one, But at the moment Blackburn will have more fight in them than us at the moment as they might go down.

If we rest any one due to the semi final coming up its a massive risk i would though consider dropping Enrique for Robinson just due to Enrique being quite poor in last 5 or so games

Blackburn should be the favourites, Liverpool are gutless/clueless in the league.

Now it could be lies or false but one of guys who usual gets are teams correct on RAWK is saying the team is under strength so yeah to me that implies were resting for Everton if true!

They have all been **** lately so if we use reserves might be an improvement anyway

They didn't even give a free kick. The official that 'saw' should be handed his P45. The FA continue to hide behind this 'rule' that if an official has seen something it can't be overturned. That's complete rubbish.

Football's discipline is farcical. You have clear offside goals given, players making the slightest contact being banned, yet leg breaking style tackles don't even lead to a freekick. Heck Laurent Koscielny was banned yesterday for 2 games for getting 10 yellow cards, if he was sent off for 2 yellows he would have received a 1 game ban.

tbh they beat a poor deflated arsenal side where even my sunday league team could beat them and they beat united when they was at one of there lowest point in the season.

See if bburn can win against united and arsenal now. no chance

Leaked early but this maybe our team for tonight

Doni
Flano
Skrtel
Coates
Johnson
Henderson
Shelvey
Spearing
Maxi
Carroll
Bellamy

Now If Agger isnt starting tonight i only hope that means he is def starting the semi-final as i dont want us to have to rely on Carragher in that game at all!

What a laugh this'll be.

You think thats funny these are our subs again might be false, Subs: Jones, Enrique, Agger, Aurelio, Suarez, Kuyt, Carragher.

Why the hell do we need so many dam defenders on the bench thats just stupid! could have taken Sterling instead of Enrique or Aurleio dont need two dam LB on the bench unless KD plans on us holding onto 1-0 and then just use lots of defenders and then we sit there like lemons

1 - Liverpool have won just one of their four Premier League away games vs. the teams in the bottom five of the table this season. Struggle.

This could be quite a good game then.

Its official now and KD, you have brought the worst bench i have ever seen what a joke, I know you want to rest players for Wembley but not taking some of them at all? Pathetic.

Blackburn will love that no one on that bench they even need to worry about changing the game let alone scoring

Sterling isnt even playing for our reserves tonight so could have gone
