Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [6th - 11th April 2012]

Out of interest people who are watching, has anyone thought Carroll has played okay?

Not really. I usually defend him a fair bit, as I think people are often overly critical of him, but tonight he has made quite a few misplaced passes. He has done a few decent flick-ons, but you must expect that from him. He is always going to be judged more harshly though;)

Put it this way, he is getting leathered in to and it is 'feel sorry for Flannagan' what a joke, Flanno has been appalling and it has been his own reckless fault, even tried to blame others for his first yellow.

Getting a bashing on RAWK and can't quite understand why.

until the red and then moving shelvey into midfiend, carroll had few nice layoffs. Cabt see second half being very eventfull for him though

Class from Blackburn fans booing Doni who was in tears, hope they get relegated.

They were booing him likely out of frustrasion that he denied them a goal because they missed the penalty. Whether he was in tears or not means jack. Also, who's fans was it again that caused the Oldham player to come off in tears because of racial abused hurled at him? Pot and Kettle tbh.

The fan that was found innocent :)? The single fan and not the stadium :)?

He was also boo'd before the penalty, you know since the player has to leave the pitch before play continues.

I doubt it was the whole stadium. Besides, 1 fan or 10,000, it's still wrong and you can hardly single out the Balckburn fans and hope they get relegated when your own fans are hardly saints.

Either way, they still denied them a goal.

It's as if they don't want to win, walking around, not pressurising, sloppy passing. Where's the high tempo blood and guts performance they give against united home and away every season?
