I can see it being a long lived joke. Bit like Terry and the getting changed for cup final trophy raises. Has brought it on him self though. Even more embarrassing than his penalty dives, this isn't for the points, team or fans. It's just him desperately trying to cheat his way to something he's not earned for personal glory. Very very low
