Team looks far weaker without Lucas playing, Ibe's been a very good substitute for Sterling though. Shame they couldn't both play today.
 
Good first half bar Gerrard Sakho and Henderson's defensive work. Should be several goals ahead though, pity Studge is just coming off injury

Eh, Allen isn't as bad as you make out, certainly as a sub when he's got the higher energy.

Coutinho coming off isn't a terrible shout, don't think he's been great and we do need some more control here as in a shootout we're going to lose

The poor chap has gone from leading the line in LvG's title winning Alkmaar team in the Netherlands to a winger or central miedfielder at Fulham to a deep lying midfielder at spurs.

I have been jabbering for ages that he is made to play no10 and finally someone is doing it. Surprise surprise a forward plays best when playing as a forward...
 
We're making enough chances to not need Lallana yet. What we're not doing is defending well and Allen will keep the ball better than Gerrard but more importantly move more than 5 yards quicker than a Tortoise.
 
Trouble with allen is that he dont look up and play forward, also needs a fair bit of time to make a pass of which he wont get in the game atm.

Couts has been poor, but I wouldnt take him off.
