Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [7th - 11th May 2016]

Why the **** does migs run out there and just stop all of a sudden! he could have just thrown himself onto the ball, he is at times one of the most frustrating keepers we have ever had

Stats with context, I put your stat in context which apparently you don't like.

The other stat you now provide is also fairly useless as it discounts a bunch of injuries we've had. That is from a few months ago and doesn't represent the current season particularly accurately.

Welbeck will have missed more time than any other player in the past couple of years by the time he gets back from injury, but was he injury prone before being at Arsenal? What about the other players who leave Arsenal and stop being as injury prone?

As for the way we play we get tackled more theory... why does this only apply to Arsenal and not every possession team? There are plenty of extremely heavily fouled players in the league who don't end up injured all the time?

How many times do we have a player rushed back then injured before even getting back in the team or extremely often put straight back in the first team then played by Wenger in every single game before getting injured again after not too long. Wenger has shown a complete lack of ability to understand over training and that the chance of injury when not resting a player is greater. Welbeck has been used maybe excessively since he got back from the last injury while Campbell rots on the bench and even Walcott is somewhat rotting on the bench. But Wenger gets his favourites then plays them till they drop. Iwobi having never played consistent games is being played extremely often for an inexperienced and young player... I've mentioned it for a while and I wouldn't be surprised if he picked up an injury from the way Wenger is playing him.

Lol, even that stat is useless. I give up.

So Arsenal won the title have they because we were top around the time your injury list was given? Or does that injury table only represent part of the season and considering we've had more and worse injuries since that list it's not a complete picture.

What if I gave you a injury list from the first day of the season where Rosicky, Welbeck, Wilshere were injured, all predicted to have 200 days out each and they were the worst on the injury list by 550 days compared to anyone else, would that be a useful stat to paint a picture for this season? No.

Well i would have thought you could work out from the table posted in may and the one posted at christams time, both saying that Arsenal are near the bottom of the injury list that yes, Arsenal have had a fine season in regards to injuries. Knowing you, you will of course still find a fault with those facts though, youre like a conspiracy theorist.
