Cole and Downing on the pitch at the same time and Gerrard saving himself for England's next game doesn't bode well for us going forward. Rodgers is making some extremely poor team choices at the moment.
 
Well at least we cant hide ebehind the result. We were woeful.

Sandro is a one man midfield and he takes great credit for his performance but Dempsey and Siggy underperformed again. Thud is hopeless. Caulker and Gallas are rubbish. Vertonghen is a terrible left back defensively.

Gerrard you're putting in a lot of effort with your legs today but bugger me is it not coming off.

Matt Taylor should've been booked for earlier tackle on Agger, and borderline red on sterling with a kick to the chest/stomach.

Gerrard looks fresh in this game. But yea taylor was lucky imo studs to the groin/ stomach.

As much as I'm gutted, Everton are worth their money and from what I saw it never really looked like it was ours anyway. Full credit to Everton, well played guys.
 
If Tom thinks the penalty was harsh on liverpool you sure as **** know it wasn't one :(

Oh and we had a bigger penalty shout with Collin's doing a hitman strangle on Agger.
 
As much as i agree Purdy we wouldnt need half these penalty's if the players finished there chances i get they cant finish 100% of the time but they dont even finish 10% of them.

Exactly, but I've grown to accept we don't have compsoure/quality to finish. I don't grow to accept a referee should influence us losing games.
 
I thought Spurs looked knackered. Really tired, not surprising with our injuries and that damn europa league!

Everton did nothing but lump it in the box the last 20mins and im not surprised they didnt find something. They played better before that!
 
So, the BBC football site, is this a completely useless waste of time for everyone or does it just play up for me?

Ever since they updated the style a while back, its updating is beyond weird.

Currently for example, if I am to click on the Everton v Spurs game, it shows as 0-0, 81 minutes played, followed by a short match report of the actual result and then the live updates up to 81 minutes, but including a goal in the 75th minute that's not shown in the scoreline :confused:
 
Everton definitely deserved that more than us today based on their 1st half performance, however I thought Spurs would nick that with the lucky Dempsey goal.

Alas, as per usual, we sit back with men behind the ball and **** about with the ball on the edge of our box instead of putting a ******* foot through it to clear.

Oh well, that is the hardest of the fixtures out of the way for December, let's just hope we can get some good points from the remaining fixtures.
