Sunderland 2-0, Reading are going down, no game plan, no attacking movement, no defensive movement, stick 10 men behind the ball and they are watching it go past them.
Wish they were like this last Saturday, they shut us down at nausea but seem content to just let Sunderland play through them.

Im soo glad RVP went. he was right all along. i wouldnt play with these lot. hell no.

i take back all that crap i said about him getting injured and apologize to all in here. i was a fool, stupid and dellusional. wasnt thinking straight and was downright out of order and for that i apologize to the likes or Robo and co.

Lots of issues coming out at Reading 
Guthrie refused to travel once he found out he was on the bench again, chances are his career at Reading is over before it's even started. Can't say I blame him for being upset considering how bad the midfield has been, but refusing to travel isn't the right way of going about things.
There is also rumours that Roberts had an argument with McDermott after the Southampton game which is why he wasn't playing last night, so all in all it doesn't sound like a happy camp at the moment, and I think most have been resigned to going back to the championship for some time now.

I knew about the Guthrie stuff, think his ego needs a reality check as (despite the poor midfield performance from the rest of the team) he really isn't that good/the answer. Needs a swift kick to be taken back to reality...

I feel sorry for Reading as its just awkward to watch a team that had the smash and grab tactics sorted last year that got them out the champ, but this year have done nothing to build up on it other than buy a lot of champ players and hope it keeps working. Unless there is a serious buying of players over christmas and some real belief/direction coming from McDermott its not going to end well at all.
