Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [8th - 13th March 2019]

Not true. I've been in situations where we've played Chelsea when you both were going for the title and if Liverpool had anything to play for then I'd never want anything but a Liverpool win, even if they didn't have anything to play for I'm not sure I'd want anything but a Liverpool win even if I felt conflicted about it. As I said, what makes it even more crazy to me is City being the alternative to Liverpool - either way it's **** for Utd, even if it's not quite so **** if City win. Losing to City would be a double punishment - you damage your top 4 hopes and your 2nd biggest rivals win the league or you boost your top 4 hopes and your biggest rivals win the League. I appreciate it's not a great situation but come on!

It's more about the Liverpool fans I know and the fact that it's been so long since they won it. Were you ever in the position of a team nearly winning it after such a long wait?

Given where we were earlier in the season a top 4 finish would be a superb achievement, if we don't then I think people will still be happy that the team is heading in the right direction.

As great as Pogba is you get the feeling his ego does impact things/the team greatly, especially when things are going well. Sadly we need him more than he needs us.

Be interesting to see what happens if Utd go on a run of a few losses, will Pogba spit his dummy out again? Fantastic talent but doesn't have the steely determination that went with the other French midfield legends like Vieira, Zidane and Blanc for a short period.

If anything we will be stronger now. International break coming up and a lot of players to come back from injuries. Arsenal were pretty much full strength at the weekend and rested 5 players mid week.

People forget that in the past 10 weeks we have played Arsenal x2, Chelsea, Liverpool, PSG x2 and Spurs. Not to mention Wolves in the cup isn't going to be no slouch.

That's like saying arsenal rather spurs win it then united lol. Not in a million years !
No it's not at all Liverpool have always been the team that united hate the most. Same with Liverpool hate united there has always been rivelery ask any fan from either team which is the team they want to beat the most. United would be liverpool and liverpool would be united thats what happens when your the 2 most successful teams like fergie said city are noisey nighbours .So nothing like spurs and arsenal but your agreeing with me with your statement saying you'd rather united win than spurs as spurs are your fiercest rivals. I was hopeing spurs would win it but cant see that now so lesser of two evils
