His fitness and form are always a complete roller coaster, he's often getting niggling injuries too which has been a pain this season.

Plus, at the minute Carrick/Clev have been playing well so it's difficult.

Today was a perfect opportunity to give him so game time though, big match on Wednesday and all. Maybe I just loath watching Phil jones in the centre, he's a headless chicken.
 
You wouldn't think it looking at the scoreline, but that was a poor first half from us. We just seem to fade in and out of the game at random points.
 
Predictably we've not had much control in the midfield without Carrick but Jones has done well doing a job on Fellaini and we're 2-0 up, all going to plan :cool:

Anderson's been poor in quite a few of his performances this season no more so than his last against Southampton when he was woeful

He's been brilliant, often driving games forward when I've watched him. Meh. I like the guy, and he has had niggles in the past, but I still like to think he can get past them, otherwise ship him out.
