Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [9th - 11th November 2018]

I can see why you think that on initial viewing, but the line actually runs under the players, zooming in his back is maybe just over, but there's no way the linesman knew that. Benefit of the doubt to the attacker.
I'd rather they just made the right decision, which they did.
They will all make Alisson double take anyway so take your pick. You can't have 3 lads running ahead like that and not expect to be flagged offside.
Doesn't matter. You're only active if you play the ball, prevent an opposition player playing the ball or block the keepers view.

Still not playing how we need to sadly
How do we need to play? I know what you're getting at but we've played incredible attacking football in the previous 2 seasons but not got the results we've been getting this season. Our attack hasn't clicked yet but we're still winning the games we should be winning comfortably and been away to Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs + City at home and are unbeaten. We've become such a solid side that we're not having to play incredible attacking football to win games.

It’s been repeated a lot this week but we look like manu of last year a lot of times, getting very fortunate at times and not ruthless enough to win big games when offered the chance. (Chelsea especially)

Utd weren't creating the chances we've been creating nor have we been relying on Alisson to make 10 saves per match to keep us in games. Other than the City game with the penalty miss, which game have we been fortunate in? I agree we've been wasteful with chances but that doesn't mean we've been fortunate.
