Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [9th - 13th February 2018]

I've noticed a pattern where we normally come on stronger in the 2nd half - well that's my interpretation anyway, barely watched a live match so far this season.

Great ball from Matic but Newcastle defenders need to learn to step up lol (Was that shelvey playing him on??)
 
A few good moments but pretty poor overall.

It's always like this, it feels like there's always a missing link when we attack, dull.
 
personally thought Smalling's foot was on the line so the attacker was therefore just outside.....kinda made up for the "handball" against Smalling in the 1st two minutes which wasn't - (his arm was moving behind his back not towards the ball, and its questionable whether he could have got out the way in the 1st place)

passing in the final 3rd has been shocking for the most part, Martial and Lukaku have had good chances but scuffed their shots otherwise Young and Matic nearly setting up Newcastle goals seems about normal
 
Not sure how the ref hasn't given a penalty for the challenge on Gayle, it was blatant. He didn't even give a free kick :/

Not sure what it is really.

We just look a team of individuals and results are based on how well those (inconsistent) individuals play. There's no in-between. Been like this for years.
