Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [9th - 15th December 2016]

Arsenal have a decent run of games after the City one on Sunday (WBA H, Palace H, Bournemouth A, Swansea A, Burnley H, Watford H).

I still wouldn't write them off even if they don't beat City.

Some tough teams those actually, few years ago they'd be a write off but goes to show how much tighter it these days.

Liverpool: Mignolet, Clyne, Lovren, Klavan, Milner, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Lallana, Mane, Firmino, Origi.

Subs: Karius, Moreno, Lucas, Stewart, Alexander-Arnold, Ejaria, Woodburn

Well thats more goals were going to give away, Lovren with no Matip ends up in disaster as he struggles when he isnt told where or what to do by him, Im sick of seeing Firmino on the wing, it hasnt worked shove him in the middle and give Origi ago on the left or let Ejaria have a chance, Firmino goes missing when he is not the focal point

Looks like Bailly at right back, should be interesting.

Sunderland: Pickford, Kone, Djilobodji, O’Shea (c), Jones, Denayer, Kirchhoff, Van Aanholt, Borini, Defoe (c), Januzaj.

Subs: Mannone, Larsson, Khazri, Love, Asoro, Maja, Honeyman.

Chelsea: Courtois; Azpilicueta, David Luiz, Cahill (c); Moses, Kante, Fabregas, Alonso; Willian, Diego Costa, Pedro.

Subs: Begovic, Ivanovic, Zouma, Chalobah, Matic, Loftus-Cheek, Batshuayi.

Bailly is a better player than Darmian anyway and has played RB in the past. Mourinho specifically mentioned him being able to play that position when he bought him too so it's not that surprising.

I'm going to buck against the pundits and say that I wish we had stuck with Karius and not dropped him.

I believe that Karius is a good keeper and just needs experience, imo dropping him for a keeper who has made mistakes on and off for years and in all likelihood wont be staying at the club anyway doesnt really help either keeper.

Bailly is useful for set pieces too.

Expecting a difficult game, but it'd be nice if we thrashed someone away from home. We're doing reasonably well of late.

Least its not just me then! Considering i blame the wall for last week, its almost like half our fans have forgotten he is in a new league and learning the premier league.

God De Gea was awful when he joined UTD at first and look at him now one of best keepers in world, Klopp backing him in media but then dropping him says the opposite

Was impressed with the Bournemouth supporters last week, they seemed to sing songs about their own team unlike the **** tonight. Do Middlesbrough have a single song of their own or is it songs about their opposition each week?

Edit: Traore's ruining Milner for pace, dare I say we need Enrique's dumber son on.
