First game at the Amex. Gus sent to the stands, 2 players stretchered off! coming back from 1-0 down! this is going to be a good season:p

Were you at the game by any chance? I'm hearing conflicting reports on Craig Mackail Smiths performance
 
Nah couldn't make it, living in Warwickshire I wouldn't be able to make enough games for a season ticket to be worthwhile. Will try to be there for Cov & Leicester away though. :D

Watched a stream of it on Fox in America - CMS was really endearing, chasing down the ball at every opportunity putting the Keeper under pressure, almost robbed him a couple of times. Goal would have capped it off but he was named MoM.

Leeds taking a belting, well formed backline, but playing far too square, southampton are just running them across the line.

2-0 could have been more.
 
Leeds look a right ******* mess right now :/

Doesn't surprise me, this is the state of our defence: our RB has always been crap, one CB isn't fully fit, one only played half a game of football last season and the LB only arrived yesterday. Doesn't really give you much hope when you put it like that, shot ourselves in the foot by not strenghening the back over preseason.

At the game, best atmosphere since the play off final win. no one changed the game when he came on, Buckley was immense, tore the left back to pieces. Two sublime strikes. CMS is going to cause most Championship defenders to have nightmares with his non stop running! Great start to the season. One down 45 to go!!!
 
Thought Saints looked very good today, I know it is only one game but they already looked better than the 4 or 5 other matches I saw them play in the Championship, where they were pretty shocking.
 
Enjoyed today's game and came away smiling which hasn't happened too often in recent seasons at Hillsborough.

Team looked alright; Defense looked really good, organised and confident, Midfield pair looked pretty good Prutton was really good bossed the midfield, Wide men and up front didn't offer too much.

Still got three first team numbers to fill and quickly running out of time, hopefully the right players can come in and we can build upon what's good so far.

Also; Prutton's goal is ****ing epic.
 
Good start to the season from the Shots, I think we can get playoffs this season tbh, weren't far off last time, just drew far too many games late on.
 
Just seen the highlights on BBC. no one and CMS looked different class and 2 very good goals by Will Buckley. I thought last season that he looked like a very good player for Watford and i was delighted when we signed him(and surprised he wasn't snapped up by a bigger team tbh)

First game i will get to this season will be Peterborough on 27th. Unfortunately i work weekends atm, but i'm trying to change that!

Atmosphere looked amazing
 
Tummy I hope you and CAFC make it out of L1 this season, no one should be made to bare too much of it as its a dreadful dreadful league!!!

Im finally back from saints vs Leeds and iv never been more confident in a team than I am after that performance!!! I see some of you watched the game and not to sound brash but we really dominated proceedings... Went down with my flat mate (saints fan too) and some girl his mum was trying to set him up with who's a Leeds fan and she thought Leeds were absolutely TERRIBLE. We had strength and depth across the midfield and defence, with the only place really lacking was upfront (lack of npc strikers made up by Lallana amongst others) and I really can't wait for next weekend away at Barnsley. Or tomorrow to see the full npc highlights :)

Last time City won this trophy was in 1972. UTD will be going for their 20th community shield victory.

No Tevez and Aguaro will be on the bench. UTD still without Chico, Valancia, Carrick and Fletcher.
