Africa is rich in resources but it just doesn't make it to the people be it war, political corruption, meddling by western companies and now China making moves to secure access by offering loans on projects knowing full well they cant afford it and offering 99 year leases in lieu of payment (wonder who they learnt that from).
Maybe one day they'll get it right, an African alliance could be a superpower to rival Europe for third place after China and the US.
Who knows maybe the US wont take kindly to China taking their no.1 spot and solve all this for us by wiping everyone out.

Africans just do not adapt well to Capitalism or any ism they should be left alone. If you look around honestly many groups like Native Americans, Aboroginals, Africans adapt extremely poor to both White and Asian systems. Why they are the main growth i have no idea it sounds cruel but they are no match for the Chinese i expect massive colonization from China i wonder will they ever talk about Nigeria projected to have a billion people or how on average a Chinese person has a much higher IQ.
It is like the fox running the chicken coop.

Give it a few generations into the future and sadly big chunks of the content might well become far less feasible to live in thanks to global warming and you might well see some large scale population movements - many more people heading for Europe etc...
It is something that might be unthinkable at the moment but I wonder if colonisation (or rather mergers with European or other developed countries) might make a come back in future - if we were to accept large numbers of migrants from parts of the continent then some sort of deal to manage those areas too might be needed. You could find parts of Africa depopulated save for workers in mining companies living in air conditioned accommodation.
We've only got 10 years to save the planet from this climate emergency.

Europe has an extremely bad history here, Basically anyone not White and Christian was getting it even around Medieval times it was common. Nothing changes over time about a humans self defense mechanism you could not put any more than current in any country they will never stand for it.
If those places go down two things happen, A they perish or B there is a civil war about do we take them in or not. Global warming could here in theory be used to wipe out certain people and places. Argueably America Europe Russia and that latitude line still sits in the global goldilock zone so any extreme swings in climate might make us hot or cold but other places will be freezers or ovens.
That article didn't age too well for Mr Brown.

A good friend of mine who is black classes these protestors in the same group as UFO hunters or conspiracy theorists. In his immortal words "a black man ain't got time to waste on that ****, I'm too busy enjoying myself"
On that subject, I recommend Jonathan Pie's video "We've Reached Peak Nazi". I can't link to it here because it contains an abundance of swearing. Jonathan Pie is a character created by a comedian who specialises in political commentary. He's what used to be called a liberal (i.e. an actual liberal, the complete opposite of contempory "liberalism") and he's very angry. The videos are in the format of a reporter speaking to their cameraman before or after doing their piece to camera. They're better political commentary than most serious political commentary.
Why did they not roll out the blue hair whales, There is no way that fire hose is going to bully the UK's largest aquatic land mammal. They sent the soyboys out to do a mans job sheesh imagine 100 years from now and this is the species that fights actual fires and stuff.

It will fail because it's supported, from where I sit, by complete and utter morons. Teenagers screaming in the streets, ageing hippies singing 'we shall overcome' (in Wellington where I live, saw and heard it with my own eyes and ears), laughing and taking selfies at rallies. A grand old fun time. Get with the rest of the hive, take a few pics, get a few 'likes', get your feelz, get some sweet attention, maybe get an aerial glimpse of your mug on the 7pm news. Forget all about it 3 days from now.
