From what I've played I've enjoyed it and most people who actually own it on here seem to be enjoying it so read through their impressions :D

I don't find it as interesting or diverse as Grid 1 but it is still a good solid arcade racing game that is defiantly worth £10 imo. If you do end up getting it and to anyone else who missed it be sure to join the OCUK Grid 2 group for some races :D

I wasn't £40 since I bought it for 360.

People are asking for opinions on whether they should buy the game, just because the game is bad and I'm saying that doesn't mean I'm not entitled to my opinion. I'd rather tell people how bad it was rather than have them waste money on a disappointing game as well.
 
I don't recall saying your not entitled to an opinion, but it's not your duty to tell people not to buy it just because you got stung.

Maybe you should be informing people in the console section that the 360 version isn't worth buying as I believe most people here are having fun with the PC version.
 
Majority of the people seem to be disappointed with it, just like I am. I'm telling people not to buy it because its a bad game which is no different from telling them to buy it because its a good game.

There isn't really a discussion going on in the console section but if someone does ask for an opinion of it over there then I'll happily tell them what I think of it as well :)
 
I love pretty much most of code masters driving games. the last few releases have been great. I loved grid and thought dirt 3 was just awesome, this however my experience so far is boring and the car handling so far is just horrible. I hope it gets better and I change my mind, but I can't see it happening.

I would say the game is a major let down if you were expecting a polished great handling game like dirt3 or the original grid.

save ur money on this one.
 
^^ did you play dirt showdown? that was a disaster of a game, just wondering if thats one of the "last few releases have been great".

told him about a few things we would like fixed :cool:

mp is not for the faint hearted imagine gladiators with touring cars :D great fun .
 
When I tried MP it was just a ramfest where even slight contact with another car sent you off into the dirt while the other guy kept going like nothing happened.

I have a question... Is anyone experiencing any purple squares appearing randomly, its on all settings from low to ultra and I'm using gtx 570 classified Sli..

Apart from that, game runs smooth.
 
you playing on xbox but i will say it can get a bit ram happy :p

keeps you on your toes though :D just makes you wanna win more .
 
Its the exact same on PC. The online might be better with a more organised group of people but the games physics are laughable.

It's an effect added by the game usually when you crash or damage the car.

Ooo you're in with Codemasters too :p Can you tell them I'd like GRiD 1 handling and in car view then I'll buy in a minute notice. Also, tell them to turn over the server end stuff when they're fed up with hosting it so the community don't feel so shafted like every other online game they churn out.

Also, tell them Micro Machines V3 really needs a next gen makeover. No ******* with the gameplay or content, just nice HD graphics and online mode ;)
