You must hit the control key on keyboard then map using arrows and enter after enter press a pad button if not change the registry key oem name to rumblepad2 or almost any other pad name

I caved and got a 360 gaming receiver, however that's annyoing me aswell because it doesn't work unless i unplug it, turn my pc on and then reconnect it : /
In fact its your statement that i was replying to that is all wrong as your saying that because it does not have ps2 controller support it is a console port, but if it had ps2 controller support it would not be a port.

I managed to set my ps2 contrller up with grid using a adapter? works fine. I use a 360 controller now through because it's got analogue throttle.
You have remebered to turn the ps2 controller on with the button in the middle? just keep trying it does work.
