Grid Or Forza?

Forza without a doubt.

I have played Forza to death and i still play it. Grid is sitting on my shelf, gathering dust :(

Edit: I like Grid, It's not a bad game but it just can't compete with Forza IMO

Are you able to try the demos to see which you prefer?

It depends what sort of game you are into - Forza is a sim, Grid is (to what extent is debatable) more arcadey.

As previously stated, they're two completely different games so quality can't really be compared. It's all down to whether you prefer realistic racers (Forza) or arcade racers (Grid).

Thats my problem.

Loved Burout for sheer arcade like thrills (but cant stand the new one as Free Roaming completely wreck me in a racing game!)

I might be leaning towards Forza but never had a driving sim, but got heavily addicted to MotoGP ( think thats the right one?!!??!), on the Xbox lol.

Ok, how about this:

Forza 2 can be bought for a pittance these days, get that as it's much cheaper. If you don't like it, not the end of the world as you didn't pay much for it. Would be worse if you bought grid for twice the amount and didn't like it.

Forza can be had pretty cheaply and its worth the money, GRID was'nt for me felt a bit clunky.

Try the Demo's though, you will have differant tastes to the rest of us.

Forza would be my choice, if you haven't played a sim before though you will need to stick with it for a while, don't be put off by the initial difficulty, once it clicks with you it's a very rewarding and fun game :)

Or it is interminably dull with only a handful of highly bland tracks, for an alternative viewpoint :p

Forza does have a lack of tracks I agree, but once your in to it you dont really notice so much.

Online is fantastic, really really good.

And my answer is get both, you could pick both up for around £35/£40

Yes I guess you could look at it that way, it isn't going to last me as long as GT4 did for example but Grid just isn't for me and I'm loving Forza 2 at the minute.

The fault with all racing games that allow you to tweak your car is that you can very quickly outclass all other vehicles on the track.

A well driven, fast lap in Forza 2 feels like an great achievement to me, but the AI is thicker than two short planks though, no matter how carefully I drive I often find myself getting nudged up the rear.

It isn't perfect but then what game is?

I actually find the smaller cars on the proving grounds tracks a lot of fun.

-edit- Forza 2 needs a wheel, Grid is better without.

Forza 2 is great & I liked grid from the demo I played, I wouldn't say Forza NEEDS a wheel I can manage just fine with a control pad but I must say it would be fun with a wheel.
