Grid Or Forza?

Grid is class. very realistic. I love it.

Really, try Forza if you love the 'realism' of Grid! :). This thread inspired me to go out and buy Forza again and I forgot how good it really was, and for the price of a used copy its an absolute steal.

Forza is simply unbeatable on the 360 atm for racing. The game is what you make of it. It's more of a mmo then anything. Whether it is organizing specified racing events, tuning companies battling out to get the top times or paint companies releasing new fantasy or race replica paints. If you can get into the community with Forza you will have a game that will last pretty much until Forza 3 comes out. I have easily invested 1000 hours into Forza since the game was released just over a year ago.

I can agree if you prefer to play solo i would suggest GRID is a great alternative but if you can get a bunch of mates together in a racing team then there is really nothing that can beat it atm.

If it weren't for the limited number of cars and quality tracks then I think I could really get into Forza...

Forza has over 300 cars. Which 99% of the time are not copies. For example there is only one skyline R32. Not 300 different racing versions because you make those in the paint editor and by adding race body parts.

Also no quality tracks? Nurburg, Tsukuba, Silverstone, Sebring, Motegi, Road America, Laguna Seca, Mugello, Suzuka and Road Atlanta. Okay i can agree there isn't much there regarding "main tracks" but the quality is there without doubt plus each course has several layouts and Motegi even has a Oval. Maybe you meant to say quantity of tracks but the quality is definitely there.

I've played GRID now for several hours (around 10), and anyone who said "You can just steer around corners at full speed even without the assists on" is a liar. They said it on the demo, which wasn't the case, nor is it the case in any game modes.

With the assists off GRID is very, very difficult.
