Grilling Machines

You have the right idea, microwave and George Foreman. all the cooking a man needs. When you get one you will find out you can make almost everything on it. make a cheese toasite, OMG its so good in a foreman. DO NOT attempt to make an omlette, it is not a frying pan. Trust me!

Cheese and bacon is amazing on a George, cant live without it :D

Surely it would be a lot better to get a hob? You can do all the frying as you would on a george foreman, but you'll also be able to do stews, currys, pasta dishes, anything really.

just get something like this

with a frying pan and a saucepan with a lid. job done:)

The grill seems a better idea to me as frying isn't always healthy and to be fair the grill really only needs to be used for post gym snacks and the odd morning when I miss breakfast.

But it looks George is the way to go!

I'd go with a grill. The cheap George Foreman ones aren't too bad, my tip would be once you've cooked on them clean them soon after with a damp sponge, that way the grease comes off easier. Dry with kitchen towel.

Like others I'd recommend a steamer.

I'd also recommend a slow cooker if you have the space, gives you added flexibility.

You could always buy a slow cooker.

Why would you want it cooked slow?

My girlfriend got an ActiFry for christmas.. so far we've cooked chips, stir fry chicken and veg in it. It's basically like having a frying pan that stirs itself.
Only downside is the price, I believe they're around £130.

People that don't like Marmite don't like life! You suck buddy! :p

Hey, I'm not above self-destructive habits. I smoke and drink, treat use-by dates as suggestions and have a knack for saying the wrong thing to the furious-looking people in the wrong sort of bars. I just don't like yeast poo.

Why would you want it cooked slow?

Why wouldn't you? That is more of the question you should be asking yourself ;).
In all seriousness though, slow cookers cook amazingly & say for instance you know you're in for a hectic day but fancy something yummy like a beef stew, you can prep it the night before or morning before work, come back & it'll be there ready & waiting.

I often slow cook a joint of meat over night & then steam some veg the next day. It makes for a nice simple, no hob hassle roast dinner.

Of course there are loads of other things you can make in there but it depends on what you fancy :D

Man nobody knows how to cook in this thread:( Pretty sad when everything you put in your mouth either comes out of a george foreman or a microwave...
