Grim Dawn - ARPG

Looks good, not played this in years and may take another look at it, I copied it to my legion go s , the GOG version, and it runs well on medium levels. I remember the ambient sounds like wasps always being especially loud and annoying.

Since it was so cheap I thought I'd give this a go too. Found out it runs the 32bit version by default. Had to force it to use the 64 bit version.

Enjoying it so far but I'm finding hard to finish some of the side quests without any guidance.
Maybe I'll come across them by following the general main quest trail.

I assume they've not changed the way the game handles expansions and co-op? i.e. if you want to play together with people who don't have the expansions, you need to uninstall them

beat me to it @RBImGuy :p

love the look of the components UI
I wish they did leagues and content for such 2-3 times a year.
but community leagues been a good substitute

Found this that your can disable in steam,
"the easiest fix is for the host (or everyone) to disable DLCs in Steam properties to match the most basic version, preventing errors with characters and areas."

I think that uninstalls them IIRC? PITA when you've got **** internet, plus not sure what happens to any characters you've created and run on those expansions. It's a shame that it's not handled in a way that I can use my DLC stuff in their game, but they can't use the DLC maps/items, or a bit like in Anno where you just toggle them on/off.

Will make me hold fire on any expansion simply because I'll play with friends and if they don't want the expansion then I won't bother either as I CBA to juggle it.
