It's quite good, very easy to watch.

Almost like a different take on the "Supernatural" story.

Indeed it is, would be so much better if we got some back story into the grimms, or even some of the monsters.

As it stands its pretty much:

Cop sees monster while investigating crime, goes to not very well hidden caravan to research said monster, asks werewolf guy for help, solve crime

It's ok but very much as zootfloot said, each episode is pretty much the same, I think Supernatural does a much better job at portraying the monster world of tv.

The problem is they keep teasing at a plot arc but it's been minimal so far, they need to get on with it.

As mentioned, I keep getting the feeling of there being an over-arching plot but you never actually get one. Not yet anyway.

I find the weak point with all these sorts of things is the premise that the main guy knows whats going on but no-one else on his team really notices that the guy they just arrested for pulling someones spine out through his nose probably wouldn't be able to do that if he was human.

It's pretty average, but will see how things develop over time. One of my wife's friends works on the special effects which is the main reason we are watching it

I really like it, doesn't take itself too seriously, it's in the same category for me as Haven, Once Upon A Time, Warehouse 13, Eureka etc.
