Righty the first double letter on the LH side of the plate is EQ so suspect that it's that...
(or YC - which was the next double letter afterwards...)

After washing the Octavia for the first time since buying it today, I've decided the bonnet/front bumper needs a respray.

Not to worry, the Fabia is exactly the same colour so I can use it for that!
