If people can't remember off the top of their head how many double letters there are in "successful" then thats normal, but that takes the biscuit.

no i made a typing error, the 2 are rather different. Its spelt correctly in the first post.

true, but if you're going to start correcting people on their grammatical and/or spelling mistakes, you really should take care over what you yourself are writing

That depends upon if the person you're correcting has made a whopper of a spelling mistake ( i mean the word face ffs) or just a minor common one - like Tried and Tryed.

It also depends upon if the person you're correcting has a reason for it.

My dyslexia is the reason why I make spelling mistakes. What's your reason for being an **** ?
