Speaking to the guy last night.
He reckons the snare is based on John Bonhams Ludwig Black Beauty which will cost you the best part of £1000.
He says he can make them for £225.
Now I've just looked on Ebay and the Ludwig Black Beauty (don't know if there is a John Bonham model) costs around that price anyway.

Well don't forget that Simon Kirke never played the cowbell or drum roll round the toms when he did it live.
I actually emailed him about a week ago but no reply up to yet.

going into town today to pay the rest on my snare :( 365 quid to pay costing me 415 in total. i know i can get it for just under 400 but i dont want to wait :) woop.
