the main connector (big long one) is too long, and the square shaped connectors are the opersite. ive tried another PSU, but it doesnt come with the other 4 pin connector.

the worse part it i accidently scratched the psu, so i cant send it back and get refund. :@

First off chill out and cut out the swearing or you will be banned. You had better edit them out as well.

You obviously have not got much experience of building a pc from your comments. Try disconnecting the 4 pin add on from the 24 pin to make it a 20 pin. I just checked Corsairs website and it says it is a 20+4 pin main cable.

If i understand you right, you mean the main motherboard connector is too long?

Doesn't the last couple of blocks disconnect or can they just over hang?

Too late, you beat me to it :D

Id also take the "idiot" bit out or i doubt many people will help you again.

yes, but just found that there is a MB component in the way of the overhanging 4

Doesnt it clip of leaving only the 20 pin?

If it doesnt you can get 24 pin to 20 pin converters.

It is not very nice coming here and mouthing off at everyone. We are all here to help. That PSU should work, you obviously do not have much experience building PC's. I have seen the corsair work on AMD motherboard's so you are doing something wrong. There is a 20 ping plug and a 4 pin plug they need to both go together they should clip together to fit the 24PIN socket on your motherboard.

hey sorry about that.

good new tho, everything has worked 1st time. on it now. but slight problem with drivers for BFG GeForce 8500GT, the driver CD cant detect the graphics card...
