GTA 6 rumored to be unveiled Sep 7

However if it is Red Dead, then there is a fair chance it to will be monetised. So I guess it will get a PC release..... hopefully... for the love of deity, release Red dead on PC

Karma is a *****. You won't get it with your kids on consoles nonsense. :D

What was their reasoning for not bringing it to PC anyway? Seems odd when they have released all the GTA games on PC.

Hackers?

There's also a very good single player in there ya know where you don't have to worry about people cheating.

Yeah that's not a get out of jail free card. When I buy a game with multiplayer, I actually want it to be feasible at least for 1 year after release.

From what I can remember, the development of RDR was long and arduous with employees working morning, noon and night to get the game done. Whether that had something to do with it, I dunno.

Fortunately, I finished RDR twice when I still had a PS3:D
If they bring the sequel to PC, I'll gladly do what I rarely do and buy it on release, as I did with GTA V.

I'd be wary of any Rockstar game now, after the way the Houser's have treated Leslie Benzies. He was the reason their games shipped at all and now the brothers greed has gotten rid of the glue that bound everything together and the hand that actually got the games finished.

Without going into the Leslie Benzies law suit, to say that he was the glue that held everything together is very harsh on to the others that work on the R* projects.

So I am not sure what we have to be wary of. If it's micro transactions, then that slippery slope already has people sliding down it....

R* will either produce a great game or they will not, with or without Leslie Benzies in post and of course the shady, mythical world of R* games will continue.

I know somebody who works for Rockstar North. And judging by how much he works that seems normal to them, it seems something expected of you until you get higher up the ladder.

Yeah seems the tables have turned now. PC is testing the 60fps experience for the consoles now. :p

In all seriousness, things have changed since RDR came out and PC was excluded. MS making games available via UWP is now a thing (albeit with limitations) so it could be simultaneous release.... Lol... PC release on time...

There was a rumor that the code was a bit messy and it took them a lot of work to get the game running, it very nearly didn't happen due to how hard it was to get it running..

TBH RDR on the PS3 was an amazing game, and it was just amazing tech when released, as being able to ride the train all around a western setting and see the sunset whilst riding the same train, it was something else back then, and is still now truth told.

One of the first games to really make me fully appreciate open world.

Just read another rumour that they plan on announcing a "remaster" of RDR which will be released on PS4, XB1 and, most importantly, PC :p

We shall see in two days, but it certainly sounds like Rockstar have something at least

Never really looked at RDR but just been watching a couple of videos and that could be pretty good if it was on the PC

Well considering it is all on RAGE, I suspect it should not be that difficult to remaster. Just like GTA V for XB1 and PS4 was enhanced from old gen...

saying it should not be difficult is I suspect and understatement. :D

I thought it would be 2017 for the next one, it was about 4 year gap inbetween the last 2 and this one was 2013. Lets just hope it doesnt take 2 years to come to PC again.

A female protagonist? Deary me...

The only place I'd be happy with it being set in is Vegas. Have the strip made to scale with all the correct looking casinos/hotels in their right positions, Lake Mead, the Grand Canyon, Area 51, etc. Ah, it'd be perfect...

Ah. I would love that. I had so wished GTA 5 would have had San Fierro and Las Venturas in it, just San Andreas but bigger and with better graphics.

I'd love to see a really well done version of Las Venturas, with all casinos and other buildings having actual god damn interiors!
