GTA IV - ICENHANCER 3.0 out!

30 odd frames per second on my MSI 7950 at 1100, 1500 :0(

looks sweet though. Anyone else notice it go out of focus now and then?

Getting about the same with my GTX 780M, also getting the depth of field going out of focus, either that or it is lagging in focusing. Seems to just get stuck rather though, until you move a bit or zoom in on something a bit. Maybe that's just how it works? Looks about the best it has.

I tried the press number 1 and page down which does get rid of the focus issue but new I've got another problem where my screen goes black for about 5 seconds every 30 odd seconds. The sound is still there.

I cant get the game to start. Using Steam version if I launch it I get the Social Rockstar club signin window. I put my credentials in click play it says I am successfully logged then window disappears and game doesnt load.

:(

got this the other day, done my head in so deleted

Guys..you have to really throw lots of mods at it. Go over to GTAmods.com and download things like HD texture packs, HD Explosions, Car Packs, Blood and Gore effects, HD Trees. This is only to get ENB working, ENB does very little to textures.

If you look for my info in the GTA IV modding thread, you'll see links to everything and my recommendations on what to install. This isnt just a case of whacking this ENB on and doing nothing else. Modding GTA takes a little patience, a little reading, and a little trial and error.

Hmm. After my initial excitement, feels like a bit of a mess this release. Not sure what the changes are yet over 2.1, which was great, apart from lots of problems.

At night I get terrible light sources flickering. Only goes away if I turn off all shadows in the settings.
Headlights also have an awful lens flare effect. Looks like arse.

Also had to turn off DOF in the config file as this isn't working properly at all.

Not impressed so far.

Quoting meself.
Flickering due to SLI!
Tried 2 different compatibility bits, no joy.

Running on just one 780Ti now and it just about copes when running locked at 37fps (half my monitor refresh rate, forced in enbseries config file).

At least that's better.

Had forgotten how 'wooly' GTA 4 controls felt though. Feels awful compared to watchdogs!

And.... even with enb and some texture packs loaded now, this does not look as good as my current self modded Watchdogs set up. People really need to give watchdogs a chance you know. Awesome looking game when you get into modding it.

does it work on win 8.1?

this broke on 8.1 upgrade for me.

GFWL doesnt work for me on 8.1 so hit the forums and I can see.....ahhh. Probably best to delete the game again.

If you hit the link when the error code comes up it says page not found.

In fact this is the error I get when I try and install GFWL on my PC

Error 80070015 occurs when you eject a game disc from your Xbox One console during installation

I think someone is trying to tell me something.

Have same problem with Dirt 3

edit: blimey I managed to fix it after trawling through the registry it was trying to install to an old drive that doesnt exist anymore.

ive just got it working and it looks fantastic, though quite artificial, anyone know any cool user configs ?

The thing is it looks great but you still have to go to some effort to install all the supporting mods for cars and other props to get it looking like the trailer? Has the car modding aspect changed much or do you still have to faff about with mod utilities?

Not much love for this going on is there? Thought there would be as it's a great pre GTA 5 fix.

I spent some time on the mod yesterday and with a lot of tweaking I've got this running and looking great on my system.
Had forgotten how immersive and real this game could feel at times, and the new ICE mod is fantastic now I reckon, apart from a few bugs that will no doubt get ironed out.
