Does anyone have a link to the DKT Road and tyre textures please ? The guy who made it removed the file from that link so that no one can get it anymore, i would really like it, thanks !

GTA looks better on PC but I would say its a console game due to it not really giving a great advantage for using a mouse or being especially skilled. I dont feel the game is open enough, I hope V is fully interactive multiplayer

I completed 3, most of VC and just now I have got to Pegorino but the mission is bugged.

He gets away before I can even chase, so I cant complete the game without maybe doing this mission 50 times over. That'd be ok if it was a question of difficulty but I have to restart the mission from the very start and the only hard bit is the final chasing someone who leaves before I can get on the bike, stupid game

360 for actually playing the missions.

but PC for the mods hands down

What are you after exactly? The DKT70 road textures? I've got those if that's what you need.

Why do you prefer the 360? It plays exactly the same on pc it even uses a 360 controller flawlessly. the only difference is that you get a decent resolution and it runs at a decent framerate,

Oops not looked in this thread for ages so never bothered to reply. The bug is when

you need to whack space bar to get the dude back into the chopper. For many users, this never registered correctly so the mission always ended in failure. Something to do with having a GFX card that put out "too many" FPS or something to do with VSync. I was sooooooo peed off!

Anyway I thought the SP in GTA 4 was the weakest of the bunch - just no imagination to it. One of the best environments in a game ever though...was more fun to drive around the city than to play the actual game!

Had it on PC, never completed it or felt like wanting to.

Got it on Xbox for xmas from the missus and completed it in about 2 weeks.

Found it much better to play when camped out on the sofa

How well would a i7-2670qm, 4GB ram and 3GB GT 555M laptop run this game do you think? With graphic mods.

PC Version defo.

If you've got the rig for it, get the iCEnhancer graphics mod for it and the visuals will blow you away. Cant do that with a 360 and it will blow the 360 graphics out the water!

Just look at that screenshot of iCEnhancer above, and it really does look like that in game, that pic is not been photoshoped! Awesome huh!?

Just remember to backup the GTA IV folder, I have broken my install twice now lol. Some mods don't like some versions of the game
