Your best bet would probably be to steal a car and put as many mods on it as you can (put a tracker in so it's your personal vehicle, not sure whether insurance is necessary but it may be better safe than sorry). Then do the glitch and make sure you don't mess it up. You can always practice with a car that you haven't modded to make sure you're doing it right, but it probably needs to be your personal vehicle to make sure you don't lose it after selling.

Get a bravado gauntlet muscle car these are easy to find and verh cheap to mod. spend a few k on mods, then leave the lsc. Go back in the lsc then to sell it with the glitch. then repeat and repeat. When you can afford all the mods do that.. then just keep selling. the more mods, the more it sells for.

They are also found quite commonly on the road around sandy shores airfield that goes behind the prison and along to the sandy shores los santos customs.
Also watch out for people camping LSC to kill you. I did my car selling glitch at LSC in sandy shores where its much quieter.
Its worth mentionning that there are two ways to do this
1) the safe way when you spawn back at your appartment and
2) the quick way where you respawn outside LSC.
To do number 2, you need to go into the options and change your spawn from "appartment" to "last spawn location" if you have no appartment you can skip this step. Once you've done this you need to do something to force them game to save, so that when you re-spawn after the character change you spawn in the same place. This is why you've heard people talking about going into Los Santos customs and buying something then coming out, or quitting to single player. Anything that gets you the spinning orange disc in the corner to indicate its saving.
on another note its hilarious how wide spread this glitch has become. The MP is going to die on its *** when next gen comes out along with other MP big hitters like BF4 / COD Ghosts

am i right in thinking that all the missions in online have you competing with other folk to complete the mission? (thats the only missions i see so far) If so then i am in trouble

Yup, I want to get it done before everyone has stopped playing this, so get it whilst it is hot (or patched out). It seems everyone is doing it and it's not really a levelling up glitch, just in game money so it gives no real advantage in most missions anyway.
That was the plan, try to get it right with a non-modded car first as a test...which went wrong ! lol Couldn't do it again for another game day so I went round the map for a while.
p.s. yes, I hate people who camp around LSC, PITA. Need to drive up north to do it I think just to be safe. Although....if you do this in an "invite only" session, then you don't have to?

I did it at the very north of the map for about an hour and the only other person I saw was in LSC doing the glitch.

After you go to the Char select screen and then reselect your character it will put you into a public freeroam, so I'd definitely recommend either going to either the LSC right at the north of the map, or Sandy Shores. I did it at the very north of the map for about an hour and the only other person I saw was in LSC doing the glitch.
I think after I sold the car I didn't press START fast enough to go into the X-box store.
So do you just go into the x-box store and come back out, don't need to press anything inside?
With no apartment I get respawn outside the LSC anyway so the option of respawn back last location doesn't really apply to me as it is at default.
p.s. side point, played with Skully and his brother the other night and he said my character is stupidly tall, and he is right, I am like a good 8-10 inches taller than both their character ! In fact, walking around the map, I am taller than every NPC in the game lol

These are my cars & bikes, you might see something that you want too (bottom few I don't actually have anymore):
Look at all the places I've marked in red and you will find any spawn-able car. The X's are car parks. Keep going into new games to make new cars spawns.
The store method doesn't work anymore, you need the character selection screen. I posted the YT link back a bit you should watch it as it's exactly what you need to do.

Is there a limit? like the $50k limit on cars that you steal + modded?
Not 100% sure as I've not done this method myself, but if it's like before...then there should be no limit I'm sure someone will come and let you know soon

You can't dupe super/premium cars btw. Well, you can, but it says it already has a tracker when you try to put it in your garage so you can't keep it.
Edit: The Character select glitch only works with cars up to a base value of $50k, unlike the old glitch. So it'll work with any car that can normally be sold to LSC.
