Obviously there is very little to stop you hacking your console on PS3 as it was originally designed to let you into the other operating system and there are plenty of people out there modding firmware to allow you still to do this and go online.

I've not seen any cheaters on xbox live public lobbies yet, but that's not to say they aren't any. There are just less because fewer people are willing to risk a console ban from live just to play around with mods.

I was in a lounge with randoms that had huuuuge boulders blocking the streets in the town area, plus a couple of guys were invisible and causing chaos

I left and found a "clean" room

In other news I'm leveling up nicely
 
most people with that amount of money glitched it themselves or got it from somebody who glitched

Seriously, an hour of playing the highest paying mission in the game non stop, using the quickest method possible gets you around 100k

To get 12 million that's 120 hours of solid mission grinding, excluding any missions you might fail by accident, with absolutely no time spent at all in free roam, just in a private lobby driving back and forth from madrazzos house.

You'd go insane before you did it !

And i'm not saying that like I disapprove. Rockstar shaft you online in an attempt to make you buy shark cards. Each RPG you fire is $500 for pete's sake. Use your RPG 4 times on a mission and you reduce the payout of the mission by over 10 % !!
 
I had $7 trillion or something at one point...and I tell you the truth, it doesn't make that much difference compare to now ($150k in the bank now, R* took away every penny since), I have all the cars that I want up until that point and what I miss out on these days are the tank, and the new super cars.

I don't even take my old super cars out, you dont need them to do missions really and it is a hassle getting it out of the impound lot.

The only thing with limited cash is I can't try out new cars really. $20k can replenish my ammo easily and buy a new gun.
 
I got fed up with playing normally and getting trifling amounts of money as quite frankly I'd have binned the game off a long time ago.
I did the dead hooker car glitch a few times and made enough to keep me occupied for a while, and now I don't worry about replenishing ammo I don't mind going balls out in big missions and making money back.

I have an online buddy who has $51,000,000 atm :eek:

I have 4 cars now that are any good, the rest are complete arse, and spend most of the time faffing in races that I or my friends have made and making some pennies that way.

I'll be honest I was going to do the dead hooker glitch but like a tool I spent all my spare CR on the only supercar the hookers won't get in!!!!!! the one that looks sort of like a Mclaren P1 :mad:

What a ****!!!!!

So I gave up on the idea and stuck to 100% legit, I have two modest digs and 32k in the bank.
 
they hot patched the hooker glitch a while back so you're two late for that party unfortunately.

On the glitch front I did my fair share of the "repeatedly selling your car while switching to the online store" glitch back in the day, and did the dead hooker glitch as well.

As a result i've made 18 million from car selling, probably around 17 of that is glitched as I still make a point of taking a baller to LSC whenever I'm oinline.

But i've also made over 6 million from missions. Considering the highest mission payout is 18,750, taking into account all the low rank missions I did when I started out, I must have done over 400 I reckon.
 
Never heard of the dead hooker car glitch but when I had a butt load of cash, given by another player in a lobby, I maxed out all the cars when I can, I have all the planes, chopper and boats too that I could get my hands on.

Even have that $10 mil Z-type, which is not a good handling car btw!

The only glitch I did was the selling car on, I think I did about 8mil or so before given trillions so I stopped, when they took away all my money, including the money I glitched, I stopped glitching altogether, even new glitches I ignore and play it normally.

It's funny how I used to spend money on stuff like tyre smoke, $15k is throwaway money, now I don't bother. That's the biggest difference really and my favourite gun is still the Carbine Rifle.
 
I've actually got 15 mil now, I hadn't checked it for a month or so as haven't been bothered, but have been doing shed loads of missions and races apparently!

It is weird how money seems so trivial when you have so much, but I've pretty much given up on customising things now and wasting money, so the only thing I really buy is ammo. Well, that and fireworks lol
