I don't want to be controversial but I still think this was over rated, good yes, but not the amazing game it has been hailed. Some of it is great and obviously being GTA you can just do what you want and have fun, but there were a lot of occasions where I had to wonder why they had put such a boring mission in.
 
GTA V next-gen/PC is coming soon, I can feel it. All the gaming outlets (Cvg, etc.) have been doing "what we want from GTA V on PC". They're all making specific lists of new features, and it's obvious that Rockstar is going to delivery on these and is just trying to hype it up before it's predictable announcement.

...but i'm probably being tin-foil hat here trying to come up with (somewhat) logical solutions :p

I disagree. It delivered on everything and then some imo!

I am replaying it atm, and loving it again. The only problem being that it gives me a headache, probably to do with the incredible amount of jaggies. A PC version will be incredible for improved graphics, though it does look pretty good anyway.

Already completed it twice on console, would definitely get it again for a PC playthrough though!

I also got my hopes up after seeing this thread again :(

Lost days of my life to this on the 360, would loose months of it on PC!

Would be worth it tho...
 
Damn, came in hoping for a release date. Me sad, I'm kinda getting discouraged to be honest. Will it ever come, it's been such a long time since the last gen version. GTA one of my fav game series ever, so much fun and nonsense to be had. Where else can you pull up to rob a rag heads shop, have 3 or 4 other randoms join you in such action, all getting in to the role play over the mic, do the job, run from the cops and army, have another player swing by over head in a chopper, see whats going on swoop down and pick you up and make a getaway??? so many levels of awesomeness.

It's just such an outrageous game is GTAV, can only imagine how it will look on a beasting pc with the ice mods etc.

People say they lost days, weeks, months to WOW, well this is the series that had the same effect on me. I could just get totally lost in any city Rockstar put me in. The amount of insane *******ish things I used to get up to online and offline still never ceases to amaze me.

If I can make my GTAIV look this good with mods, I can only imagine what could be possible to an already incredible looking GTAV.

Kind of not bothered now, I have completed it a few times, if it had come out sooner then I would have taken the plunge but Cockstar have dragged their heels too many times towards PC gamers.
 
With Dragon Age 3 and The Witcher 3 coming out I think this will take a back seat if I even get it.
I avoided Watch Dogs as it looked poor and tbh I'm pretty much over GTA 5 now.
 
The game hasn't been launched on PC before next gen release because it can and will look far superior on pc than on xb1 and PS4, that's all. With all the mods that will be available as well, it'll make the next gen consoles look so damn pooooop, which we already know anyway. I strongly think Rockstar have had their hands tied on a PC release for this reason. It would have majorly hurt next gen console sales, as soon as people got to see how it looked on high end PC before xb1 and PS4, I really believe those people might have wanted to invest in PC gaming rather than console gaming.

I had hoped that it would have been released already. It was one of the few games this year that I was genuine looking forward to playing, even to the point of a preorder.

I know there are rumours saying that Sony may make an announcement at E3 next week with a PS4 release date. Hopefully it will release on PC too, but "hope is the first step on the road to disappointment" and so far the rumours about PC release date have been full of it.
