How are they "trolling"? They simply haven't released any information yet, that's all. You're acting like they've dropped hints, promised info, given a release date then gone back on it.

It's been clear from the very outset that they'd be focusing their resources on the most profitable versions of the game first (PS3 and 360), and considering the amount of work they've had to put in to GTAO so far, it's no surprise that they haven't been rushing to get a PC version out too. The alternative is a BF4-esque scenario where the developer is trying to fix 5 different versions of the same game at any one time and letting everyone down in the process.

Amazon Lists GTA 5 For PC... Again

Yet more evidence has surfaced that Grand Theft Auto V will be heading to PC, this time in the form of a couple of retail listings.
Regional sites Amazon Germany and Amazon France (since removed, but caught byDualShockers) have both listed the game on PC, though no release date was mentioned.

The listings follow yesterday's discovery of a bug log that seriously suggests the game will be coming to PC before too long.
This isn't the first time Amazon France has listed the game for PC, as it did the same around this time last year. Whilst this could easily be another mistake, Amazon France has previous form in accurately leaking game details before publishers were ready to reveal them. To date, its list of scalps include Call of Duty: Black Ops II, the Killzone Trilogy and the European-only Assassin's Creed Anthology.
Grand Theft Auto V is currently only available on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but rumours began swirling in October of 2013 that the game would come to PC. It was at that time that Intel’s Marketing Director Chris Silva predicted that GTA V was PC-bound. A few days later, an anonymous source seemed to confirm Silva’s inkling. A petition to bring GTA V to PC reached 600,000 signatures as of October 18, 2013.

Saw this on Maximum PC stating that Amazon.de is offering pre-orders for GTA V. Also mentioned that it is due to be released March 31 2014. Not confirmed by any RockStar sources though so probably just idle gossip again.

Would make sense, a year to the day of the console release, gives them time to bug hunt and hopefully give us a decent PC port.

Wonder when the nextgen consoles will get it.

People keep mentioning Watch dogs, but I didnt get the impression Watch dogs was a sandbox game in the same vein as GTA.

A pc version really wouldn't affect the profits from the console version now, what harm would it do to even tell us it's coming to pc, they have plenty of resources to do all platforms, all the info is in the leaks of the code shown all over the place, so why deny it.

I didn't think it was a port? I thought the same place that did Max Payne 3 were the same place doing GTA V, Rockstar Leeds I think it is, I'm sure I saw that somewhere anyway.

Fwiw, I don't think it'll be September, I think it'll be May/June, gives them to announce it, market it some more, then release it, September is just too far and doesn't fit with their usual announce/release dates they've followed pretty closely with their past few releases.

Apparently it is sandbox. Plenty of stuff to do outside the normal missions anyway. I guess it's not quite as large scale as GTA 5 though. I don't think you can fly planes and helicopters etc

I doubt it will be. It is Ubisoft so they will claim it is open, but it will be incredibly restricting.

If modding is allowed/available then I highly doubt that it will stay at 32 for long. Look at Just Cause 2.
