I'm sure we wouldn't mind paying top price if we got it at the same time as other platforms. We have had to wait a year and 4 months? and are still paying more than the day 1 release price.

If you go by the hours of entertainment logic then San Andreas should also be £40.
 
Yeah, nice try... I've got countless games in my library unplayed from bundles and things but by far the games that have provided me with the most hours of entertainment on balance have often been ones I picked up for sub-£10 once the initial hype had died down...

I dunno, perhaps my viewpoint is unfairly biased because I don't own the latest gen consoles where they price the games at £50+ a pop or whatever and people still think it's acceptable
 
I paid £35 for GTA V ps3 on launch. I do not regret buying it and would have played it for hundreds of hours if not for the inconvenience of the console.

If it is a good port I have no issue paying £40 for a steam version. However I do not expect the majority will feel the same.
 
Think ill go with amazon physical release, dont really fancy using steam to run it if its like gta 4 was where you have to run it from a shortcut so steam doesnt interfear with it during play causing fps issues.

I like steam dont get me wrong but most games are fine its the mmos or anything with a launcher im guessing cos of gta4 then it causes issues.

Only reason id want a steam copy would be auto updates, but if rs social thing does it good enough then pff just use them. Oh and also i guess having all games in one place is nice but not practical with some titles which either dont go on steam or arnt great with steam i mean theres ppl who have gog games and steam games and origin games, so expecting all on steam isnt exactly realistic.
 
^^ It's on for £35 at Amazon. You can get it for £30 at Gamestop if you want the physical version.

Just joined Topcashback and it's giving me 5% free cashback making it 10% altogether with the 5% you get anyway, so making the price £27.

The pnly thing that tempts me to pre-order is the preload, but as I have a pretty hectic week when it is released not real point.

As already said they can stick their preorder money scam up their ass.

Lol, I agree people will kick up stink over the state of launch games like bf4, X Rebirth, R2TW, Watchdogs Assassins Creed etc (even gta 4) and still pre order because there getting some free in game stuff that costs publishers nothing.
 
Played this again on the PS4 yesterday and at times thought how good it looked and can only imagine what this will look like on PC. Need to get my ass in gear and preorder :)
