First trailer of a game that's almost 2 years away which isn't fully optimized shocker.

GTAIV had frame rate issues, but considering the scale and the fact that they used brand new physics tech, it held up pretty well.

they can really test the game and optimize it fully for PC,and console gamers would get much better graphics with next gen.

There is close to zero chance of that for several reasons:

1. The consoles aren't even announced yet, there have been some very strong hints that it's coming but at the earliest we won't be seeing it before the end of 2013 really. Sony, who knows.

2. And this is the biggy, userbase. Rockstar will not release such a huge title at the launch of a console when the userbase is small, why would they do this when they can aim at the huge PS3 and 360 userbase?
 
If they have spent the time optimising the engine for the consoles I see no reason why it wont run well on the current consoles. PC is a different ball game.

Damn this game will be so sweet.
 
I can pretty much guarantee that on my rig it will be a lag fest even though my PC is capable of playing a game with that level of graphs at 1080P smooth as butter, it'll be another crappy port like GTA IV.
 
I dont get the whole crappy port about gta iv, all u needed was a nice cpu at 3ghz and have it quad core and its a pretty good experience, the draw distance and traffic sliders pff lower aint that bad compared to very high if thats what ppl complain about.

As i put off playing gta iv as i thought it was boring as hell i got back into it lately when trying a enb mod that looks nice but not bad on fps. Actually enjoying it and remembering the good old days of gta games. Tho still a bit serious and not as fun as the old ones vs/sa but still.

I really hope one day they will go back to gta games where its not about gfx but about enjoyment, taking the pee out of everything and just been daft and doing loads of cool missions, buying businesses and houses and doing crazy hit all over the open world gameplay.

Still you cant argue them screenies look damn geogous. If they have any of the fun of vc or sa back im really gona enjoy the new one. As well im really glad they went back to SA kinda as i hated the new york setting in gta iv, too many streets i will never remember where i am without lookin at the map.
