Looks amazing! i cant help but think that the current xbox graphic engine must be holding the possible quality of this game back compared to what a high end pc machine could deliver.

Really hope the pc version wont be another native console port

I guess it'll soon be time for a gfx upgrade... for this and Crysis 3.. just don't think a 460 will be up to it.

I hope they stick fxaa inbuilt into the new gta game or maybe even proper aa. I know we can force fxaa in the nvidia drivers now which is nice but a ingame option thats more optimise for the game and shows aa better would be nicer imo. That and maybe combo of fxaa and 2x aa.

I'm wincing for the pain my poor 6970 will be feeling when this comes out. Gfx upgrade imminent for this by the looks of things

I wouldn't think it would be too bad so long as it is well optimized, and I think Rockstar will learn from their mistakes of the poor GTAIV port this time

(an optimistic 6950 owner;))

I'm also optimistic my 460 1gb will handle this at reasonable settings i.e medium/high. I can clock the 460 from 675 to 800 if need be tho.

Well every game i thought was gona bring my pc to its knees i.e bf3, gta iv, it has delt pretty well with em, ok maybe not loads of aa or ultra settings but make sure ambient occlusion is turned off and maybe shadows a bit and whatever else that is the killer settings and usually its near mid to max and plays reasonably well.

So im not giving up hope yet. With the new cpu and with gta iv being a cpu intensive game more than gfx card game due to quad core requirements im hoping the new cpu (yet to be upgraded from my current cpu setup) will help me and maybe boost my 460 a bit as maybe the q6600 was locking some power of the 460 away due to needing a stronger cpu for it.

Who knows. Time will tell. :)

I hope I'll be able to tow a line of tractors up to the top of Mt. Chilliad like I did in San Andreas, only so I can tow them all off the edge of the mountain. It was always a challenge because I think I remember if you had too many in a line and you tried turning a tight corner the tractors would start flying all over the place, so getting up the mountain road was a task in itself before trying to get all of the vehicles to land at the bottom without exploding.

I had too much time on my hands back then :p

...I may have to go and try this.
