Keep seeing "PC users will pirate it" If true and feasible, (sure it will be) what is the point in producing PC games anymore...

I have pre ordered, I don't regret it at all. If you want a refund, go for it.
This is a very important game for me as it will be easy for me to use, given my sight. I have supported every GTA since launch and I will get loads of pleasure from it. I also upgraded my PC for it.
I do wonder what percentage of sales, in total, PC's will account for. When the cost of development exceeds the return, at some point it wont be worth doing in the future.... Dev now have 5 platforms to bring to market..... I would not want that job.
 
I had a feeling that this would be delayed again... at this rate they might as well not bring it out at all to be honest. I've had it on the 360 since launch and I don't think I can play it any more. I now only go on it when my friends are on and want to mess about.

This will come out like GTA 4 whether you give them a year or 10 years to develop it. I was waiting for it but now I don't think I will bother until it goes on sale.
 
I wonder if the repetitively recent delays are related to DX12 Potentially around the corner? maybe they are trying to get GTA5 optimized for it ?

I could be completely wrong but it seems rather coincidental. although i am unsure of when DX12 will be out as well ^^

The only build of Windows that has DX12 right now is the preview Windows 10.
There's no chance it'll be due to DX12.

PC has always come last because it's more work, but yeah, you're right in one sense that PC Gamers are far down the list because the profit they make from us is barely noticeable.

Who knows, maybe it's delayed for more work towards Dx12 :cool:

I used to think like that about needing 60fps etc but having played the PS4 version, it looks great and runs smoothly the whole time so I don't notice the framerate. Tbh, the PC version isn't going to run at 60fps for about 4 years anyway so don't get too excited :p ;)

The main reason I'm after the PC version is modding tbh, that's what's made the last few GTA games for me since Vice City, add in online multiplayer and this could well be epic. I do really hope we can host servers though, unlikely I guess :(
 
Boo for another delay but I'm glad they have. If Rockstar isn't happy with the current condition it is in then they should delay it! Too much moaning about games being broke at launch and most of that is due to having to hit a street date with no compromise, most companies don't have the luxury to delay the game another month as they will struggle to cover the cost of running a studio :p

If Rockstar have that luxury they should abuse it! Hopefully this version of GTA will be better than the previous ports at launch (which shouldn't take much..). I'm not sure if I'm going to triple dip though until it drops to triple dip prices :D
 
I just pre-ordered, im happy to wait for the PC version after the mess of a 360 version i tried ages ago, that was nasty!

Sure this will be a lot of fun and all those who are moaning here will soon be enjoying it too.

End of it all: Its a game and not worth getting wound up about tbh! Go do something else whilst you wait!
