I have caved. I was originally not going to buy this until after its release but I'm going t get it and pre load after work tonight.

What is the main benefit of getting it via Steam as I know CDkeys can be entered into Steam and its £10 less?

Sometimes I regret buying a 21:9 monitor, so little games actually use it. Maybe I'll move back to a 16:9 (2560x1440) again.

Very happy with what I play , only tittles I have played recently that doesn't support it are evolve and sonic transformers ( don't judge me haha I have to feel superior whooping my kids at something ) . Other than that never had a problem with latest tittles , can't play them all mind but certainly worth it overall for me . Having multi monitor support as declared as this surely means having 21:9 support as GTA IV does as far as I know

The funny thing is, really old games like half life 2, cs etc. support the AR perfectly well yet some of these newer games don't....

Just pure laziness from developers, 1-2 guys can add proper support within a day, unfortunately they seem to have given up now though :(

Ah I misread. It says on the website you redeem it via Steam but I saw the platform is Rockstar Social Club.

Im just going to get it via Steam, cba with all the VPN nonsense for the other methods etc.

Fingers crossed that it supports it natively! Otherwise I'll just have to suck it up and play it in 1920x1080 :(

Not necessarily.

It might completely mess up the First Person animations they put in the game for instance.

You can still get it around a tenner cheaper than steam without resorting to VPN.

Right so IF I buy GTAV via CDkeys, I redeem it via this section on Rockstar social club? Probably sound like a right idiot but I never use anything but steam :/

I believe so, I've not used CD keys myself but everyone says its a rockstar key from them, so if that's definitely the case then yes that's how you do it. You'd think CD keys would give instructions.
