It looks amazing anyway? Come on now be real...

The final killer will be is if Rockstar announc cross platform multiplayer :D
 
From one of the Q&As in the console thread:

In addition to the many cosmetic customization alterations such as body kits, paint jobs/finishes, wheels, exhaust tips, window tints, tire smoke color, bull-bars, extra lights, and lots of other extra accessories, we have modifications that will affect gameplay and vehicle performance. Some of the modifications that affect gameplay include brakes, engine tuning, suspension, horns, bulletproof tires, panel armor, and of course, a general repair! There are more than 1,000 modifications in total.

Hate to think how much this has cost in development and how many employees they needed to pull this off. Must be one of the biggest costing games surely?

Then again the gaming community is continually growing and is now rather large, I should think the number of sales will sky rocket, especially as it will be out on next gen consoles too...
 
What can I say that hasn't been said already. It looks superb. If I'm not jobless by September I'll be taking a sodding week off for sure.

Yes sorry did mean that it would sell most on current gen but then coming out for next gen would help it even further.

I must have made the next gen stuff up then, was under the impression it was going to be :o
 
Aren't the next generation consoles the most pre-ordered ones yet? GTA V will definitely be making an appearance on them, just look at Xbox/PS2 when this generation released, loads of games came out on both and back then gaming was 1/4 the size of what it is now.

But usually at around the same time. Most people buying a next-gen console will already have a current one anyway.
 
Platform really won't affect me, I won't be waiting for PC or Next gen releases in order to make my purchase. I'll be booking the week off playing people at digital tennis.
 
I've got 2 weeks off work about a month after release:(....won't be able to wait that long!

edit- actually, there are some good games coming out around that time, so if anything I might just wait for the PC version tbh, it will be hard to resist though. I begrudge paying the console price, as I am unlikely to resell it really.

That was defo not PS3 or 360 footage "NO CHANCE" lol

Take Max Payne 3 for example, on Console they couldn't have all the reflections on the floors but PC version did.
Now go and look at the detail on GTA5 in the bank scene :D

Even all the textures in the street when he walks out the shop are very high detail.

What they showing here is NOT possible on console ps3 or 360.
 
^Agreed, Possibly PC, XboxONE or\and PS4 footage.

But regardless it looks fantastic, I'll grab it on Xbox 360 just so I can play it early, and then on a next gen system as and when it hits.
