I'm quietly hoping that it will come to PS4/Xbone but even it does they won't announce it until people have splashed out on the 360/PS3 versions.

Tell me about it. There was that deal on a pre-owned PS3 320 GB for £90 including some warranty. I wish I had gone for it then, there's a dozen or so PS3 exclusives that I'd want to play.

I know very tempted just built a new 1k Pc though! Arhhh and red dead redemption need 360!

Any comparison to San Andreas cannot be a bad thing.

Rockstar obviously have a reputation for making very good things - hope this come to pc eventually.

red dead is one of my favorite game in last few years so high hopes for this after GTIV which i would have got on better without all the girlfriend crap.

They've been developing GTA V for a long time. Besides, ditching 150+ million market only to cater to early adapters' taste would not be very wise. It will take years for the new consoles to get there. And any further delays mean less profit for Rockstar.

Here how I think rockstar is playing it. Let everyone think it might be ps3/360 only and clean up on cash. Then after release close to new consoles announce next gen versions ps4/one/pc

Well all i think is its tweaked to run on current gen as best they can which is probably texture res and the likes lowered for fps. When the new consoles are launched id probably guess 6 months after to play around with the devkits for optimize tricks then release on next gen which hopefully will be at the same time as pc to benefit from the higher quality stuff for next gen which should swap to pc nativley. Or something around this idea anyhow. As the game could easily just be plonked with high res textures and make for a next gen game easily enough as it is really.

Should be called the xbox 180 cos of the always on aspect and the used games being reversed from what they initially planned cos of the backlash.

it's ps3 as ps3 is the lead console the only bit that looks too smooth was the aiming which could have been ps3 dev kit on a pc or just a really well calibrated controller and a learned sequence. Or they might have fixed aiming in GTA ofc.
