Wow, really can't say I'm bothered as to whether we get it now, looks like a crtl+V job of 4.
Hmm just from that still image with the cop cars, it looks so much for vibrant on PS3 and a bit washed out on 360.
Scratching my head a little as to what is so different in V for his opinion to sway so much into 5 star review!!

Reading this thread has reminded me how elitist and snobbish some PC gamers can be. It's sad really, they can't appreciate a good game simply because it's not running in Ultra Max details in 1440p res. Very sad indeed.

Oh, that's not a problem, but some people seem to have the opinion that graphics are all that matters, which isn't right IMO. Gameplay should always come first. Just like at titles like FTL - amazing game with pretty rubbish graphics. It just comes across as graphical snobbery that if it doesn't look amazing, it's not good enough, which is a pretty shallow attitude. No offense mate, but this is the PC games section of a major enthusiast PC hardware forum. If we all thought consoles were fine for gaming [graphics], we wouldn't all have nice gaming PC's.
I'm not going to point them out, they're obvious enough IMO.What posts are these?

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy beautiful games as much as anyone. I installed graphical mods for games like Fallout and Skyrim, and they improved the way the game looked. That didn't increase my enjoyment though, whereas other gameplay altering mods actually did.The gameplay won't change on the PC version, so maybe we just simply want the best of both worlds?
In games where you can mod graphics, Skyrim, Crysis, Hello Kitty etc, I always push them to the max. I might lose a few frames but I enjoy looking at a world that is beautiful.
Smudgy blurriness and low res textures seen on some console games is not appealing to me at all.

Couldn't agree more. The contrast between this thread and the one in the Console forum is telling.
It's not everybody here tho, thankfully. Some of us like hardware, and like to keep abreast of developments in GFX cards especially, without feeling any kind of resentment towards consoles.
And plenty of us here will be double dipping![]()
I think over the next few months I will be discovering some PS3 exclusive gems so will likely keep the PS3 for a long time even after the GTX780 is ploughing through the PC version of GTA5
