What hints at it being a console "port"? It's anything but a direct port. R* have confirmed that we get a better game all round, better graphics, better performance and that they were able to make the game feel as intended rather than restrict it down due to console hardware limitations.

:D

It is going to be a port. It was built for the 360/ps3 first and foremost so obviously most of the game will be transferred over from that version. they aren't going to completely start again for the PC are they? They will just up the graphics settings and textures.

I can't remember them saying all that. Wasn't that a joint statement about the next gen console and PC release?

I too have found it difficult to find any PC specific information. It seems that all of the talk of upgrades and features (editor excluded) over the original release has the PC version lumped in with the Xbox One and PS4.

If that's not the case then all the better!

Going to go back and play GTAIV, although I may hurt myself everytime Roman speaks.

Gormless ***** that he is.

Does anyone know is GTASA plays ok on PC?

Brill ta Witcher will look at that this afternoon then.

Online has two versions I think but this is the better one, they even have DayZ servers ;)

"We also set new records for the number of concurrent MTA players. On 8th of November, we had nearly 22.700 players ingame at the same time, with nearly 130.000 unique players who joined any server that day. In general, we had over half a million of unique players each month (excluding February with ~490.000, but peaking on August with over 560.000 players), which was a noticeable improvement over a last year, when we never reached half a million of players in any of the months."

Impressive imo.

I did a fresh install of gta iv last night as it refused to load. 15 mins of multiplayer and the typical crash to desktop :(

I can at least run it on full settings but it still runs like a dog.

Just had an email from my preorder

Unfortunately, the release date for the item(s) listed below was changed by the supplier, and we need to provide you with a new estimated delivery date based on the new release date:

"Grand Theft Auto V (PC)"
Estimated arrival date: March 24 2015

Hmm, at my internet speed, it will take at least 19 hours, but probably longer as I doubt it can sustain the maximum speed for that time.

I would have thought the file you download will surely be a lot smaller then 64Gb as the files your downloading will be compressed, it's only when it goes on the hard drive your PC will start to uncompress the files.

Still even if it's 64Gb's that will the first time my Fibre line has had to tackle something worthwhile in the last 12 months.

pff just found out theyre delaying it again, at least this means theyre taking it seriously and not releasing it until its finished this time. We hope.
