I don't mean to sound like a dick (I will), but this has to stop, when a company promises 60fps and 1080p on PC releases, it means NOTHING. Absolutely nothing. There are superior variables in control of the 60fps. It's just absolute marketing tripe...

I really can't see how PC gamers are buying into the marketing **** that is "This game will be 60fps at 1080p"... THIS. IS. STANDARD! Not something to sell. What they should be marketing.

"We can run this game at medium to high settings on a 560ti at 1080p @60fps!!!

THAT is what I want to hear.
Oh I agree with you mate, I was just trying to say it'd be a huge egg in their face if they don't deliver after the delays, what they've been saying, etc. All the signs so far are pointing to them delivering a great release, but we'll see.

In 2 weeks time we will be back where we were before when the delay was announced. Hoping there's no more waiting after that.

I don't think there will be another delay, GTA 6 isn't that far away I wouldn't of thought, probably at least 1/3 of the way there already.

Um, what?

GTA 6 has been only be confirmed in to be in development. When one game is nearly finished another one is started. So don't expect another GTA game for about 5 years because that is how long they take to make.

GTA 4 came out in 2008 and GTA 5 arrived in 2013, it should already be 1/3 into development. 2018 should be GTA 6, very close now :) 1/3 there I hope.

I've currently got this on pre-order but debating on if to cancel and download on release? Will a hard copy run through steam exactly as I presume the digital version will?

GTA 4 came out in 2008, the final DLC came out in 2010, GTA V first arrived in 2013 but still hasn't come out on all platforms nor have heists. Plus they normally have expansions or DLCs for each generation which haven't be announced.

Is R* 1/3 of the way through the next game? Not a chance.

As far as I am aware nobody knows about the hard copy of the game. I think the theory is that it is a non steam version.

Has it?

All I found is:
"We've got about 45 years worth of ideas we want to do. We don't know what GTA 6 will be, but we've got some ideas". "It comes from the idea first. Where is it going to be set is the first question. Then that defines the missions; you're doing different things in LA than in New York or Miami. The map and story get worked up together, and the story is a basic flow of how it works out so you can layer the missions in"
