A new GTA every 3-5 years and people are throwing their toys out the pram for a slight delay?
Better than buying the same Battlefield or Call of Duty every year.

meh, lost interest now, well lost interest about a month ago tbh.... not going to buy it till I can get it for <£15.
R* better hope this isn't buggy otherwise a lot of people are going to be ****ed that it took them this long to release a buggy pos...

Because of cash cows, they just reel it in and are now focused on pure business moves alone. Which is fair enough for larger companies, but still. It's an absolute shame that the gaming industry has come to this.

no like many others, you completely miss the point Arch. What gets us mad is the constant lies, polishing, polishing,polishing blah blah. Like you said, 3-5 years and the game can't be polished?? lol. Only reason it's delayed is because of Heists and Rockstars well known exclusive deal with MS/Microsoft, console to get everything first, then PC. They keep palming PC gamers all the time do Rockstar, they must think PC gamers are right numpties to believe it's just to polish. If they polish it anymore, a fricking genie will come out. Wish they'd just man up and say what the real reasons are and not some total BS that just alienates PC gamers a bit more.

A delay is generally understandable. A second delay is annoying. A third delay is where people really start getting ****ed off, especially when the underlying reason is most likely because of their other **** up.

I don't own a console and I'm with him. If R* got found to have given false release dates that were never realistic because an exclusive deal had been signed against doing so they would be royally ******.
I'm more likely to believe they are struggling to get the game running well, especially on the lets be honest quite low recommended specs.

Oh crap cant believed Rockstars delayed GTA V PC for 2nd time. I was so excited March is only a week away but... middle of April! I will play GTA IV and expansion again with ICEnhancer until 14 April.

"Our apologies to PC gamers worldwide who have been counting down the days until the launch of the game," says the official statement, "but a bit more time is needed to ensure that the game is as polished as possible, and to make certain that both Heists and the GTA Online experience are ready to roll out on day one for PC."
If its polishing and making sure it works properly on release fine, if they are delaying to build some day one DLC... not fine!

That's the last straw for me, I can wait until it goes cheaper. I think that's the first Steam refund I've ever got, didn't know how easy it was, always thought you had to put in a ticket and wait. That's £39.99 that I can spend on 3-5 games I want right now, even more if I save it for sales.

I wouldn't be surprised if they're delaying it just so their glorious consoles can play with Heists first for a month. And they could possibly be delaying it just for the online Heists! I don't give a crap about that, I want the single player more! Patch in Heists some time later! Consoles went years without them.
