Don't worry, sounds like the old days of torrenting, keeping pc on all night and hope to reach 100 kb/sec if lucky .

That just means you've basically chucked the £10 away by spending it on something you could have got for £10 less somewhere else leaving you with £10 still to spend on Steam

Having it in the steam library is worth the premium.

Social Club just disconnected and reconnected. Now I am downloading at my standard 5mb/s rather than 10kb/s.

I guess either Rockstar fixed the download issue or people have completed it and traffic is reducing.

I'm not having any luck with hola and nuveem, I've tried signing up for an account with Hola turned off and also turned on and connected to Brazil, Argentina or Chile. It just says "validating" and never progresses.

I still have 35 hours to go but at least it will be done and I won't have to wait on the postman or any big patches due to not all the game being on the DVDs.

Must be something DRM/Piracy related.

Preload finished overnight for me, was going at 100kbps when I went to bed so certainly sped up over the last few hours.

Roll on the 14th! Can't decide whether to do the story again or jump straight into online.

I was the same. Will see what my TS group want to do when the game gets going.

Have joined the main group to try up my friends list, more people = more game chances.
