Curios about why in one of the screenshots of settings they put the effort of telling the user it is using direct x and which version. They don't normally do that unless they have 2 Api's that the user can pick. Future DX 12 support maybe or a mantle or Vulcan support?

I don't think so, I believe the only way to get it on steam is to buy through steam. Linking to Social club makes sense as that's kinda essential.

I'm still undecided on how to buy it.
 
Thanks Mark. I'm so out of touch regarding CD key sites etc. No matter but if I buy from Nuuvem and link to RSC, I'll have the ability to download the game to that account with no time/install restrictions?
 
Hopefully my CF 7950 should be ok for 1080p, but if not, then there's always the AMD 390X and Nvidia GTX 980 Ti in the summer as upgrade options. However my biggest problem is hdd space. Looks like I am going to need a new SSD before I can even play GTA V.:(

Thats correct, i bought from Nuveem and it's downloaded and showing as activating Tuesday.

That said we have had no word on region locking so those buying from Nuuvem maybe **** out of luck. It's a risk.

I don't think they will region lock but who knows.
 
Bit nervous about Nuuvem and this region locking lark so I'm leaning towards a steam purchase here :/

I've never used anything like Nuuvem, but as people who purchased there are pre-loading does that mean its definitely safe, or could there still be a region issue.

I'll most likely go with GMG, but really would like it on steam, but an extra £9? Not sure its worth it.

Yeah you'll just download using the RSC client rather than steam. Wherever you buy it this method will be used, unless you buy direct from steam.
 
About price just think how long u will play it and how much time they spent on it and how scalable it is. £39 ain't that bad when you think of it like that.
 
I think I'd just rather download through steam (silly I know), and I'd rather have it in my steam library (and I realise you can add non-steam games to the list).

No good reasons really, and not worth the extra, but still tempted.

I'd probably care less about the price if I hadn't bought the PS3 version at launch, feels a bit wrong paying twice, but it looks great!
 
SLI working then . Ahh simiar setup to my rig , *5820k & only 16gb of ram but shouldn't have a prob at 4k DSR :D , tbh with it supporting multi monitors anyone with a 2560x , 3440x , should be golden . Looking forward to it tremendously in 21:9 as driving feels squash in normal aspect ratios on Xbox , I wunder if amd can pull there finger out for a xfire profile
