I'm nervous too now about this region locking now.

If it region locks me I'll get it elsewhere (if you catch my drift). There is now way I'm paying twice unless I get a refund which wont happen.

anyone got an opinion as to the best download server / region to use through steam?

have tried London and Ukraine and both seem to fluctuate a lot and sometimes stop altogether

Ahh, fed up trying to decide so went with GMG, can't justify an extra tenner.

My download is going slow, won't be finished for days, and I couldn't care less.

I was downloading from london only a couple of hours ago, was sat at 11.3/4MB/s the whole time except for maybe 5 seconds.

Just cracked and purchased through GMG with the 25% off code.

Looks like the preload is really going to take a while, download is running slowly (20 mins for 175 MB) just to get the setup tool.

ive noticed you say this a lot in this thread but how is it pointless if someone wants the game in their steam library

i got my steam version from the MM for £33 but if i couldn't i would have been happy to pay more to have it on steam i already have all previous GTA games on there

It depends what is important to you, I decided £10 to have it in my steam wallet was a waste, as I'm sure many people would agree, but for some its worth it I guess.
