I'm off to buy this today, just to see if it's as bad on PC as a lot of people are making out. I loved it on my 360 and I hope that the PC can offer the equivalent, if not a better experience.

and the missions? i got to date someone and i can't kill her and i can't end the date early otherwise you fail? WTF! really can't be doing with this sort of crap. i really hope it gets better...

The furthest I got with those missions was about a minute down the road, before I got out of the car and shot her in the face. Shame she doesn't just stay dead : (

She is a bigger part of the game than you realise. Don't to say too much and spoil it.

even though gta4 is buggy as hell (i still can't even close it properly) it's far, far better than san andreas. imho of course.

now that i've finished the story, i've just been exploring around and taking in all the detail. you kind of miss it all when steaming through the story as fast you can like i did.

Just finished it the other day too. Also had problems with that final mission and not being able to tap the button quick enough.

Apparantly this is a bug caused if you are running at frame rate higher than 30fps (which the 360/PS3 versions are locked at). If you are getting around 45fps for example, you need to tap the button 50% faster than you should. I had to run FRAPS to lock the game at 30fps to complete that bit.
