GTA4 & my PC??

I'm happy to backup Dirtydogs claims that this game is all about Quad Core. All I've changed in my machine is my CPU - it was an E4300 @ 3Ghz, now its a Q6600 @ 3Ghz. I've added 17fps to my benchmark score and the game is now utterly playable.

Aye mostly averages around 27FPS ingame ... quite playable.

Btw are there any settings that affect how it runs at night? Running on an e8400 and get around 50fps during the day but drops to the mid 20s at night.

I had the same dilemma earlier, so I went to the shop and bought it. I'm glad I did, it should run well on your PC too
